2) The Voice of Racing, Sir Peter O’Sullevan, died this week aged 97. He famously called the climax of the farcical 1993 Grand National, describing it as “the race that surely never was”. Here, O’Sullevan reflects on his career before his retirement in 1997, and here’s a tribute from At The Races.
